Here are the four best Luke Bryan opening lines. If you do disagree with any of these entries, however, feel free to email me an apology for being wrong.

1. Drinkin' Beer And Wastin' Bullets

We're starting off with my favorite opening line from a Luke Bryan song. It goes like this:

Out in the sticks with the squirrels and the ticks
And my 30-06, I'm running out of Miller Lite
Trucks in park, the dog won't bark couple hours 'til dark
Wishing one would walk by
Might as well left my gun in the gun rack
Been here all day
All I killed's a 12-pack

These opening lines really serve what's almost a punchline, "All I killed's a 12-pack." It's something that I'm certain most hunters out there will relate to. It paints a funny picture and shows the reality of hunting. Sometimes, it just doesn't go your way.

2. Country Does

"Country Does" may seem like a strange entry. I believe its unconventional nature makes for a real strong start, and is immediately captivating. It goes like this:

Old boat, new boat
Red boat, blue boat
Only thing better than one is two boats
Big church, small church
Come one, come all church

It's more poetic in nature, which contrasts nicely to Luke Bryan's other songs. No, it's not about girls, drinking, hunting, or tan legs, but it's about something so much more. The essence of country comes across immediately, and I think it's cool.

3. Mind Of A Country Boy

Luke Bryan's "Mind Of A Country Boy" comes across as the most candid opening lines ever. I feel like the opening lines truly are a compilation of everyday thoughts plucked from a country boy's brain. It goes like this:

Is the trickle charger hooked up to the boat?
Is the pattern right on my turkey choke?
Are them Appaloosa cats gonna bite?
If they do, are we fryin' 'em tonight?

It's fun, relatable, and conveys exactly what the song's going to be about. Beautiful.

4. Take My Drunk Ass Home

"Take My Drunk Ass Home" has some hilarious opening lines. It gets straight to the point, and tells you all you need to know. It goes like this:

It's time to take my drunk ass home
I drank all the whiskey and my moneys all gone
Hit on all the girls, sang every song
It's time to take my drunk ass home

Need I say more? We've all been there.
