Beyoncé Postpones Big Announcement Due To Wildfires: Here's What Fans had To Say

Beyoncé is keeping her fans waiting for her big January 14th announcement for another day amid the wildfires. She clearly doesn't want to overshadow the disaster with her big news.

Speaking out about the planned announcement, she told her adoring fans, "I continue to pray for healing and rebuilding for the families suffering from trauma and loss. We are so blessed to have brave first responders who continue to work tirelessly to protect the Los Angeles community."

So, now the announcement Beyoncé originally teased on Christmas will be postponed until the US is no longer in turmoil. I expect she will have to wait at least a decade, the country is seemingly constantly tearing itself to pieces.

However, in the meantime, fans will have to wait until she deems the world ready. Beyoncé doesn't want her big announcement upstaged by LA burning to ash. For now, she is asking people to donate to her charity. "The BeyGOOD LA Fire Relief Fund has donated $2.5 million to directly support families who lost their homes and community organizations at the forefront of relief," she wrote. It's good to see her give a little of her $760 million net worth.

Fans Are Always Ready For The Beyoncé Announcement

Although most fans are understanding of the situation, one does bring up a good point. "Waiting 3 minutes before midnight is insane lol," they lament. She could have decided to let them know a little bit before. Her delayed announcement has disappointed fans.

Another commenter only proves my point. "Beyoncé, I took off of work for this," they say, while another has a similar problem. "Girl I appreciate the sensitivities but can you just drop the tour schedule in my DMs so I can plan my life?"

Whatever announcement it is Beyoncé is planning on making will surely get her fans frothing as usual. It could be a new album, right after Cowboy Carter's success, or maybe a new tour. Only time will tell. She will simply have to wait for the world to stop upstaging her, and she can get on with it. It's quite inconsiderate of California, really.
