Celebrities can't just let anyone use their phone. There's a bunch of big name contacts that need to be preserved. Who knows how nosy someone could be? Apparently, this doesn't just extend to strangers though. Blake Shelton learned firsthand that even the kids might make a crazy mistake and talk to someone they aren't supposed to call.

Recently, Blake spoke with CMT for an interview. There, he recalls a hilariously awkward experience where his 16 year old stepson Zuma has his phone. Apparently, the kid was trying to call his nanny when he stumbles upon the legendary singer on FaceTime. "He thought he was calling his nanny Vince, and he called Vince Gill," Shelton says. "I was walking through the house and I heard Vince Gill's voice kind of laughing. I looked and I saw Zuma throw the phone down."

Zuma seems mostly confused at the time that Blake had someone named Vince on the phone that wasn't the nanny. He thought some random dude picked up the phone instead. The whole time, Vince is overseas with The Eagles. "He was like, 'I don't know. There was some man that answered Vince's phone.' And I looked, and he had called Vince Gill, who was in Amsterdam — He FaceTimed him while he was in Amsterdam with The Eagles!" Shelton recalls.
Gill laughs off this situation as Blake fights through the embarrassment. As for Zuma, the experience definitely felt scared at first. Stranger danger, after all. However, now that he's aware of who Vince Gill is, he's a massive fan according to Shelton. "But now, a couple of years later, Zuma is the biggest Vince Gill fan in the world. "He's like, 'Can we FaceTime him again?!'" the 'God's Country' star grins.
