Blake Shelton Reveals Which Country Star Parties The Hardest

The partying days are seemingly over for Blake Shelton. He's 48 years old right now, he's got a wife and kids, various projects in music and television alike.

The gray hairs are slowly starting to pop up more and more as he approaches the big 50. He can't exactly hang the same way he used to in the past. There's far too many responsibilities for Shelton at this point in the game. However, he does note there is one person who can take the mantle as the hardest party goer.

Recently, Blake spoke with CMT for an interview where he revealed that Post Malone puts his party antics to shame. Apparently, no one can go brew for brew quite like the country's newest import. "I used to think I could go pretty hard, back in the day. Nobody I've ever met has anything on Post Malone. I mean, he is...he is living a stereotypical country song every day of his life," Shelton declares.

Post Malone Outdoes Blake Shelton When It Comes to Partying

Blake speaks very highly of Post Malone besides his penchant for partying. Apparently, he's the inspiration that made the Ol' Red crooner get back to recording music after a healthy hiatus. "There's probably been a million things. I retired from The Voice. Post Malone asked me to sing a duet with him, which came out of left field. That's probably the reason I got back in the studio to make new music of my own," Shelton admits in another interview.

Frankly, I didn't love Blake Shelton's newest song "Texas." It's the kind of country pop I have a hard time digesting, a little inorganic in its production and mixing, a little hammy lyrically. However, his work with Post Malone on "Pour Me a Drink" is particularly inspired work and I can understand why he takes to him so much.
