Though it's still not quite Halloween, Blue Bell just released their latest holiday flavor, and they have a big fan in Chris Field.

Field is a Houston native who now makes his home in College Station. And boy does he love Blue Bell's newest flavor, Christmas Cookies. He shared his entire review of the tasty treat on his Facebook page.
"Christmas Cookies ice cream is described by Blue Bell as being 'Sugar Cookie Flavored Ice Cream with Chocolate Chip, Snickerdoodle, and Sugar Cookies, Red Sprinkles and a Green Icing Swirl,'" he says of the new ice cream. "What Blue Bell should have said was 'if you love baby Jesus, Santa Claus, puppies wearing Santa hats, or the sound of children laughing on Christmas morning--you need this ice cream in your life.' It's just that good."
"This ice cream is probably why Rudolph was running. And mouths full of this may have been the reason the night was silent," Field raved of the new flavor. "And while I can't say for sure that a half gallon of this was one of the gifts the wise men brought to the stable that night--I also can't say for sure that it was not."
Currently, the review has been shared over 35,000 times. Friend requests flooded into Field's account, so he created a separate page to accommodate all his new fans.
After the review went viral, people started posting pictures of grocery store freezer shelves devoid of Blue Bell's Christmas Cookies. It would seem that Field's fervent and funny recommendation is causing the flavor to sell out in some locations.
Blue Bell ice cream has a devoted following in Texas. The Brenham-based creamery releases new ice cream flavors periodically. Another recent release includes the new Pink Camo flavor (not to be confused with Camo 'n Cream). Pink Camo combines milk chocolate, strawberry and cream cheese ice cream.
Christmas Cookies is not available in the pint size. Judging from that review though, you'll want a full half-gallon to share with your family.
Writing entertaining reviews of ice cream is not Field's only talent, however. The 35-year-old is also the CEO and founder of Mercy Project, a charity that focuses on rescuing child slaves.
We're betting Field is at the top of Santa's "Nice" list.
