The last place I thought I'd find the 83-year-old is X. But I guess this is the age we live in. And once you're a music icon, you just can't help but stick with the trends. Bob Dylan, yes, he's 83, used the platform to wish his fellow rock star a happy birthday.

The rockstar in question? None other than Pete Townshend. Who is Pete Townshend, you ask? Click off this article right now and go look it up. Just kidding, but that is wild you don't know. He's the amazing lead guitarist of The Who. Yes, one of the biggest bands of all time.
Happy Birthday Post
Happy birthday Pete. Who?s the new boss? Is he like the old boss? Have you met him yet? Say hello to Roger.
— Bob Dylan (@bobdylan)
That's the
Within the song are the lyrics, "Meet the new boss, same as the old boss." So yeah, pretty clear reference to the song, I'd say.
The other fun piece of information here is that both artists are now 83. Pete was turning 83 during the time of the post, and Bob, of course, just had to welcome him into the age with a little fun.
Response?
Fans of both artists loved the bit of banter from Dylan, with several hilarious responses underneath Bob's post.
One fan, potentially jokingly, potentially not, mentioned the two having some style over the years in a reply.
Again, entirely up to you if this person is kidding or not. I think they're looking pretty good.
Another fan brought up an amazing experience that they had at a The Who concert back in 2007, recalling:
Bob, I saw the Who perform in the Roman arena in Verona, Italy, in 2007. About 20 minutes into the show a downpour with wind and lightning drove the band offstage and drive us all into the bowels of the 2,000-year-old arena. The storm cleared and the band returned but Roger?s?

Yeah, so Pete was not only a phenomenal guitarist, but also a big man of the people. He apparently loved not only playing and creating music, but performing it too. I guess that's not entirely a big surprise, though, if you're in a band that big, you must love it.
