Body Of Man, Who Went Missing At Musical Festival In 2018, Found

It's not uncommon to lose a friend or two at a festival. However, they usually turn up again after an hour or two. Kevin Graves, a man who went missing at the Electric Forest music festival in 2018, has only just shown up six years later.

The man's remains were found in a wooded area in Rothbury, police have confirmed. After going missing from the music festival years before, the search has been underway. Only now has his body been found. Michigan State Police tweeted that "Detectives from the Michigan State Police (MSP) Hart Post have confirmed that human remains located Monday, December 30, 2024, are that of Kevin Graves, of Highland Township, Oakland County."

Kevin Graves had gotten into an argument with his girlfriend at the music festival before he went missing. Leaving without his personal belongings, he took himself away. Since then, he hadn't been heard of, with no way of contacting him.

His family and friends were left devastated by his disappearance, never giving up hope. They put out missing posters for him, offering $10,00 rewards for information. However, only now, six years later, did the body of the missing man turn up after his festival disappearance.

Police 99% Sure Body Belongs to Missing Festival Man

His father Gary Graves, 80, spoke to Fox 11 about his ordeal. "Thanks to everybody for the support they gave us and the prayers they've given us and all the help they gave us." His family never gave up hope.

The search for the missing man was not successful after the festival. However, the body was found recently by two hunters, tracking through the wooded area.

His father said that the police were 99% sure that the body found was that of the missing festival man. According to Gary Graves, "They said they found his wallet, his phone and he had a (festival) wristband on. They just got to do an autopsy and dental records and everything and then they'll get back with us."

It is a tragedy to lose a son and a brother, but at least now the family can find some peace and end their search.
