Death Of Miss Teen USA Mourned By Brittany Aldean

Brittany met the young pageant contestant when she was judging the Miss Florida Teen USA pageant. This winner of Miss Okaloosa County Teen USA 2024 lost her life in a crash in Santa Rosa County on Highway 4 and Hurricane Lake Road, as per WKRG.
"What an honor it was to meet Kadance while judging @missflusa," she wrote. "I vividly remember her advocating for children despite her young age. Her personality, beauty, and selflessness were only a fraction of why so many people were drawn to her."
Brittany described her as "an amazing girl" who was "gone too soon." She then said, "Heaven sure did gain a beautiful angel." Kadance was also a delegate in Miss Florida Teen USA 2024, which was when she met Brittany.
The tragedy came about when a tractor-trailer collided with her vehicle around 2:30 PM on Monday. Kadance was a Baker School student and had just earned nine college acceptances. The outlet reported that Kadance wanted to become a veterinarian after school.
Kadance's selflessness comes from the organization she created called 'Kada's Promise.' According to its website, she managed to collect over 12,000 teddy bears and blankets to give out to children who suffer from abuse or trauma. The young beauty queen was inspired to create this organization after enduring abuse during her childhood.
According to WFLA, Kadance's family described her as "absolutely perfect." They also recalled her as having "the whole world at the palm of her hands." Despite the sudden death, her family plans to continue with 'Kada's Promise.'
The reason for the car crash is still under investigation, as WKRG reported. Officials stated that for unknown reasons, Kadance's vehicle "crossed the center line of Highway 4 and entered the eastbound lanes."
The Florida Highway Patrol is "still in the early stages of this investigation," as their statement read. It also said to "take a moment for this family as well as others who have lost a loved one to a traffic crash."
