Bruce Springsteen Applauds Jeremy Allen White's Performance in Upcoming Biopic
Recently, Bruce Springsteen spoke in an interview about his upcoming biopic Deliver Me From Nowhere. There, the singer praises The Bear actor Jeremy Allen White for his portrayal of himself. Moreover, he talks about how strange it is to see someone play himself. Eventually though, his unease smooths out watching White play the role. "Jeremy is such a terrific actor that you just fall right into it," Bruce says. "He's got an interpretation of me that I think the fans will deeply recognize and he's just done a great job. I've had a lot of fun being on the set when I can get there."
Currently, there's no word on when Deliver Me From Nowhere will release in theaters or streaming platforms. However, it seems like Jeremy Allen White is relishing in the once in a lifetime opportunity to play Bruce Springsteen. In an interview with GQ back in August 2024, he talks about how much fun he's having playing the role. Additionally, he lends a lot of credit to how helpful and encouraging Springsteen is to the production. "I'm also really lucky [that] Bruce is really supportive of the film, and so I've had some access to him and he's just the greatest guy," White says.
