Carl the Cowboy Corgi Joins Riley Green on Stage for Some “Georgia Time”

Riley Green carried out country music's most popular dog during a show, and thankfully, someone caught the adorable moment.

Sure, the ladies adore Riley Green, but we all know that PEOPLE's "Sexiest Country Star" would be nothing without his dog Carl.

He's also starred in videos, including one with Green's CMA Awards date Bryana Ferringer, and even appeared in an underwear ad.

Now Carl is trending again after a viral TikTok from Green's Oklahoma City concert on Nov. 21.

Wait... Why Is Riley Green Carrying Carl That Way?

Green took Carl out on stage to meet the crowd at the Paycom Center during a performance of his single "Georgia Time." But bringing out the corgi isn't what surprised fans; it was how he was brought out.

Instead of leading him on a leash or carrying him out, Green had Carl on a camo harness, which he gripped like a briefcase.

That Carl, he's all business, no pleasure.

"Can y'all sing it one time for Carl?" Green asked the crowd.

He then brought the mic to Carl's mouth to see if he could bark a few notes. The wide-eyed pup just stared out into the crowd, frozen like a deer in the headlights.

"He's going back to bed, folks," Green told the audience as the song came to a close.

Within seconds, Carl effortlessly stole the spotlight from Green.

That Wasn't the Only Memorable Moment From That Show

Earlier that night, before performing "Smoke" with Jamey Johnson, Green filmed himself preparing a prank on his friend.

He donned a long, grey wig and a matching beard to sport a look that could only be Johnson's. Green was obviously putting a lot of effort into the disguise, even trimming things up at one point to capture Johnson's unique style.

"I gotta get some glasses, though," he said at one point. "Because he always wears those glasses, you know what I mean? They're kind of like old people's glasses."

The clip then cuts to Green joining Johnson on stage to perform the song. Johnson then flashes a big smile.

It was a pretty good prank. It's just too bad Green let Carl steal some of his thunder.
