Karcher is the founder of Grounds & Hounds Coffee Co., which supports animal rescues. Per the company's website, they "provide every at-risk pup with a second chance at a full life," while also supporting animal rescues across the country. Karcher is also the founder and CEO of Eileen, a "retail intelligence platform built for modern CPG teams."
Carly Pearce Continues To Deal With Heart Issues
Pearce has had her heart broken a couple of times, including after her brief marriage to Michael Ray, and her two-year relationship with Riley King. But she's also dealt with another kind of heart issue: pericarditis.
Fortunately, Pearce is on the mend, and has found ways to manage her symptoms, but she admits it hasn't been easy.
"I thought I was dying," Pearce says. "It was like crazy, crazy chest pain. I thought I was having a heart attack. ... It's crazy because I'm a runner and I'm like, 'Oh, my heart's healthy.'"
Pearce adds that having to deal with the condition with her career is especially challenging.
"You're supposed to keep your heart rate down as you are recovering, which, as an artist and a performer and somebody who just released a record — it's been scary," Pearce admits "And I wanted to be honest with it because my shows look a little bit different right now. And also, just, I'm a young, healthy person that takes care of themselves, and my body told me something was wrong. And so, I just want people to listen to their body because you never know."
Pearce recently had a Top 20 single with "Truck on Fire." A new single or album has yet to be announced.
