Carrie Underwood has always been open about her faith. However, she recently experienced a Biblical moment a snake surprised her in a bush while she praying.

People of faith may have visions about Biblical figures. They may hear the voice of God or feel the Holy Spirit. One situation which is pretty unique as far as I'm aware, however, is the one that Carrie Underwood experienced and took pictures of.
It's known that not only is Carrie Underwood a person of faith, but she enjoys the farming life. Her Instagram is besotted with photos of her own produce and animals. Recently, she went to pluck some pink lemonade blueberries from her orchard.
When she was plucking the fruits of this bush, she made a quick prayer, only to be faced with a snake.
What a moment.
She describes the moment in the post she made about it. "I was on the next-to-last bush when I thought I'd pray. I love praying out loud in the orchard...it's so beautiful and peaceful...I was about 15 seconds into my chat when I was surprised by a snake in the blueberry bush."

It may not be a tree, but it's close enough. Seeing the tree among the fruit made her think of God and "the devil."
"The devil is always there...watching...lurking...even when we feel at our closest with God. Being a Christian isn't a free ticket out of trouble. The world is full of evil...BUT God is with us," she wrote.
"The snake and I kept our eyes on each other...but I got what I came for, finished my prayer and went about my morning...having faith that Mr. Snakey and the devil will both be moving along...out of my orchard and out of my way! Hope you all have a great weekend!"
Thankfully, the snake slithered away and Carrie Underwood was able to continue foraging in peace.
I'm sure she wasn't expecting that encounter when she went out for her berries. Although who is prepared for a dance with the devil?
