"REFLECTION has truly been one of the standout moments of my performing career thus far," Underwood says. I've loved being in Las Vegas where we've welcomed fans from all over the world who have come to see us.
"It's been so special to reflect on the first 20 years of this career I am so grateful for, and have loved being on stage with my band and all the performers every night," she continues. "Thank you AEG Presents, Resorts World, and Las Vegas for making my first residency such an amazing experience!"
Carrie Underwood's Next Chapter
Underwood has yet to reveal what her next plans are. But she likely ended her residency at least in part to her time on American Idol. Underwood is currently enjoying her first season as a judge on American Idol, working alongside Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan. Halfway through the season, the mother of two admits she is pleasantly surprised by the talent of the contestants.
"I was nervous coming in because it's a different ballgame," Underwood says on Audacy's Superstar Power Hour. "Sitting on the other side of the table, more than anything, I want to help all of these people coming through and help them become better performers and live their dreams. So I want to be constructive and tell them things they can work on. But then you're like, 'Am I coming across mean?'. Or, 'How is it gonna turn out?' I'm really happy getting to watch the first little bits of it."
"There's so much talent," she adds. "It's kind of insane how gifted some of these people are."
