There's being hangry, and then there's this!
A Chipotle customer was caught on camera throwing a burrito bowl directly into a worker's face. As reported by the Daily Mail, the wild incident happened in a Santa Ana location on May 12.
The footage has since gone viral on social media. It shows a woman aggressively arguing with a worker before seeming to lose her temper. She then hurls the burrito bowl directly at her, covering her in rice and beans.
The woman was not there when the police arrived. They say that she fled the scene through a shopping center nearby.
Police are urging the public to provide any information, given the limited data they have. They say they believe the suspect is between 18 and 25 years old and is of Hispanic descent.
At the time of the wild incident, she was wearing a black T-shirt and black pants with white polka dots.

Commenters Online Were Split Over the Chipotle Incident
Some commenters on the viral clip seemed to resonate with her actions. One user commented, "They always skimp you out at Chipotle. I've always held back from doing this," with another writing, "IT'S BECAUSE THEY LIED ABOUT PUTTING MORE MEAT IN THE FOOD!!! DUH THAT'S WHY SHE WAS UPSET."
Others seemed to be heavily against her actions. One person wrote, "Assault charges for food??? Damn, people really need to control their emotions." Another wrote, "The belief that 'the customer is always right' has encouraged people to think they can act however they please."
This Comes After Another Chipotle Was Victim to a Brawl
This comes hot on the heels of another Chipotle experiencing a "teen takeover". We reported on this back when it happened earlier this month.
A group of teens started brawling in a DC Chipotle. They threw chairs and other items at each other before running away when the police showed up.
Authorities vowed to crack down on the "teen takeovers" following the incident, with one official vowing that "we will charge them."
This is quite the disturbing trend and we hope that it stops soon.
