In 2015, after 15 years of performing and recording, Chris Cagle announced his retirement from country music. But the country singer is making his return -- at least briefly.

Cagle, who racked up hits with songs "I Breathe In, I Breathe Out," "Laredo," "What a Beautiful Day" and "Miss Me Baby," announced that he'll return to the stage to headline Guthrie's River Ruckus Festival in Iowa.
Cagle announced his return, which will include new music and an upcoming album, via social media on Dec. 7. During the concert, live footage will be filmed for an upcoming live performance DVD.
