The Recording Academy and MusiCares named Parton the honoree for the 29th annual gala. The country legend was honored for her philanthropy as well as her career as a country music trailblazer.
Norah Jones, Shawn Mendes, Pink, Mark Ronson and Lauren Daigle are also among the performers for the concert event, which took place in Los Angeles.
The "Coat of Many Colors" singer also took the stage at the gala, which benefits MusiCares, an organization which provides assistance for those in the music community in times of need. Rolling Stone reports that the event raised $6.7 million for MusiCares.
Parton recently received her COVID vaccine, which she helped fund. She also encourged others to get the vaccine.
"I'm old enough to get it and I'm smart enough to get it so I'm very happy that I'm gonna get my Moderna shot today," Parton said in a video shared to Instagram. "So I just want to say to all you cowards out there: 'Don't be such a chicken squat. Get out there and get your shot."
