"I'm blown away with the support I'm already seeing from fans and country radio on 'Til The Last One Dies'" Young says. "I'm grateful, and couldn't ask for a better start as a Black River Entertainment recording artist."

The song, written by Ben Hayslip, Seth Mosley, and Jordan Walker, says in part, "It hit me on a winding road just how lucky I am / Outta all the guys, only God knows why I get to be your man / So I bought a dozen roses on my way to you tonight / Eleven real ones, one fake one, and I'll love you 'til the last one dies."

When announcing the song, Young hinted it was a special one for him. Young predicts it will become an anthem for couples.

"Songs like this don't come along every day, and I haven't released a 'wedding love song' in a while," he says. "Those songs are a core part of who I am as an artist. I've been doing this for a long time, and yet this feels like a new chapter. It's invigorating for me as a creator."

Chris Young Switches Record Labels

In December, Young announced he had left his longtime record label, RCA Records, and switched to Black River Entertainment. The news came after Young's last single, "Young Love and Saturday Nights," the title track of his final album on his former label, was released.

Young had been with RCA Records since winning Season 4 of Nashville Star in 2006.

"I couldn't be more excited about the new music that's on the way or my new home," Young hints. "Black River is an amazing company, and they have truly impressed upon me how much they believe in me and my future. I can't wait to continue to add to my legacy with them as a Black River Entertainment artist."

For Young, it was exciting for him to search out new opportunities, although he made his decision much quicker than he planned.

"I had the chance to be a free agent. I felt sort of like an athlete a little bit," Young tells  Billboard. He adds that he didn't look anywhere else after meeting with Black River.

"I was prepared to take all these [label] meetings, and I went in and [Black River Records] were the first meeting," Young recalls. "By the end of that meeting, I told them, 'I want to be here.'"
