Just weeks after he and his fellow America's Morning Show co-hosts were involved in a serious car accident, Chuck Wicks is back at work behind the microphone.

On March 22, co-host Ty Bentli welcomed Wicks to the studio by covering his station with layers of bubble wrap.
"We set his area up so it's especially safe after the car accident," Bentli notes to Wicks as he visits the studio for the first time since the accident. "We thought you'd feel a little bit safer this way, man."
Although the bubble wrap probably won't do much in the way of helping, Chuck seemed to appreciate the gesture.
On Feb. 27, Wicks, Bentli, Kelly Ford and producer Glenn Johnson were traveling to Mardi Gras in New Orleans when their car flipped over at least twice before landing in a water-covered area. The four were treated at a Hattiesburg, Miss. hospital.

While his co-hosts and producer were released soon after they were admitted, Wicks was admitted for a skull fracture and a cervical vertebrae fracture. Although the injuries could have caused him to be paralyzed, Wicks is expected to fully recover from his injuries. He will be wearing a neck brace for the next few weeks while the injuries heal.
