Chase Rice And Kelsea Ballerini

The COVID-19 pandemic was a terrible time for people, including country music stars. We were all swimming in deep, dark, uncharted waters. Kelsea Ballerini, among others, called Chase Rice out for not doing enough to safeguard the audience from COVID-19 during a concert in Tennessee. Per tasteofcountry.com, Ballerini said in a statement, "Imagine being selfish enough to put thousands of people's health at risk, not to mention the potential ripple effect, and play a NORMAL country concert right now." Rice reportedly did not respond or say he was sorry for failing to implement more stringent public health measures.

Billy Ray Cyrus And Travis Tritt

The song "Achy Breaky Heart" made a superstar and a household name out of Billy Ray Cyrus. He was everywhere in 1992. Hunky and spunky, he definitely was the country music heartthrob of the moment. Not everyone was entranced, though. Travis Tritt labeled the tune "frivolous," per theboot.com. Not to be outdone in the insult-slinging contest, Cyrus got his digs in. During the 1993 American Music Awards, Cyrus said, "To those who don't appreciate it for what it is, 'Here's a Quarter, Call Someone Who Cares.'" Ouch! That happens to be the title of a Travis Tritt song. Per the outlet, the two later buried the hatchet and even sang together at the memorial for Waylon Jennings.

Rascal Flatts And Eric Church

Church seems like he was kind of rambunctious when he was touring with Rascal Flatts nineteen years ago. Per tasteofcountry.com, he was chastised by the band "for playing too long and too loud." Major oops. Church got his revenge of sorts, however. According to the outlet, "...[H]e trolled them by playing satellite shows in every city where the headliners showed up." They mended their nasty rift eventually.

Jessica Simpson And Carrie Underwood

There is nothing in this world like two gals getting into a tussle over a guy. Way back when Jessica Simpson and Carrie Underwood both seemed to have their mascaraed eyes on a gridiron god named Tony Romo, per theboot.com. The handsome Dallas Cowboys quarterback caught Simpson's fancy - and it got her back up when Underwood made a seemingly innocent remark about him

Underwood reportedly said she and Romo were "kindred spirits." Simpson, who was seeing Romo at the time, was perplexed and miffed. The ladies finally smoothed things over, Simpson declared the issue "media-driven," and she and Romo later ended their relationship.
