Cole and Courtney began dating in 2022, although they were friends before their relationship turned romantic.
"We met several years ago actually," Swindell reveals on The Bobby Bones Show. "I'm a big NASCAR fan and she works with Monster and we just kind of met and exchanged numbers and kept in touch over the years. But it never was anything, just kind of friends. [I] randomly saw her here and there, but the video kind of changed everything."
Swindell's hit single, "Forever To Me," was used in their wedding ceremony. Swindell wrote the tune with Greylan James and Rocky Block.
"We were just talking, and somehow I ended up saying that Courtney, I was like, 'She's forever to me,'" Swindell recalls to American Songwriter. "And they just both looked at each other, and I'm usually the one that catches things like that. But they both looked at each other and just were like, 'That's it. That's what it's got to be, 'Forever to Me.'"
