28-year-old school secretary, Danielle Uskiwich, passed away from her injuries. She attended a concert for the rock band Sleep Theory on May 16. While listening to the music, a crowd surfer accidentally kicked her in the head.

"It is with absolutely shattered hearts that we share that our beautiful Danielle passed away on May 26th at 1:54 PM," her cousins wrote on GoFundMe. After being kicked, the concertgoer went home without incident. However, she developed a severe headache just days later.

Doctors soon discovered a brain bleed from the kick. It led to Uskiwich suffering two strokes. Sadly, despite emergency surgery and more than a week at the hospital, nothing could be done.

"Even through unimaginable grief, Danielle's immediate family made the incredibly selfless decision to honor her giving spirit through organ donation so that others may have a second chance at life," her family shared.

Family and friends gathered at the hospital to honor her with an honor walk. The concertgoer had planned to marry her fiance, Jason, this coming April.

"We have a long road ahead of us, but we're going to get there! There's no one tougher in the would to get through this," Jason wrote on May 23. "I love you so many!! You have 11 months to get ready for the aisle, baybos!"

Her family remembered her for her kindness and her love of music.

"Danielle was loved by so many. She had the kindest heart, a beautiful smile, and a spirit that could light up any room, and she was the kind of person people naturally gravitated toward because of her warmth, humor, and the way she made others feel seen and loved," her family wrote.

The incident happened at the annual music festival called Pointfest. It's held at the Hollywood Casino Amphitheater, which holds 20,000. It's a terrible tragedy, and our thoughts and prayers are with her family.
