Cojo was in the middle of performing "Diamond In My Pocket" at a show earlier this year when the incident happened. It's not uncommon for underwear to be thrown at artists while they perform, but it just feels wrong for this to happen to dear Cody Johnson.
For young and single artists, sure. But a happy family man? It's a bit out of touch and insensitive to him and his wife. Let's just hope she's as secure as Zach Top's girlfriend has to be.
The country singer was in the middle of singing a note when the bra came flying toward him. Impressively, he caught it in mid-air and allowed it to swing around his fingertip, all while maintaining his tune.
He brandished the bra to the audience as he finished, before striking a mild look of disappointment. Without another word, Cojo handed it to one of his crew before jumping right back into the show.
It's professional, amusing, and was well-handled. I'm sure anything more, and his wife would have something to say. Not that Johnson would ever go there.
