Some people think that success can be way too good to be true if it happens too quickly. The speculation runs rampant with different conspiracy theorists trying to figure out how they got where they are. For Zach Top, his rise in country has been very sudden, though he has some great music to match. But instead of rejoice in some actual talent breaking through to the mainstream, one person is trying to put together the puzzle pieces by asking one simple question: is Alan Jackson the father?

Recently, Canadian radio host Docc Andrews shared a big time conspiracy theory. He earnestly believes that we're all being fooled by a healthy case of nepotism in Nashville. Why has Zach Top captured so many hearts in such quick succession? How did he get here? Why does he have the same exact mustache and cowboy hat as Alan Jackson? Their music do share some similarities too. Grab your tinfoil hats because Andrews claims it's a little more than just influence.

The radio host confidently lays out his claim for his listeners to digest. In fairness, he does lay the timeline out pretty well. "You guys, Zach Top was born September 6th, 1997, in Sunnyside, Washington, USA. If you go back nine months from his birth date to the winter of 1996. In November of 1996, Alan Jackson played at the Tacoma Dome in Tacoma, Washington! Have you seen Zach Top's face? His mustache? His sound? Zach Top is Alan Jackson's son. Prove me wrong," Andrews declares.
I don't think he looks all that much like Jackson aside from the 'stache and musical combination. Maybe if I wear a cowboy hat and let my beard get too long, I can convince people that Chris Stapleton is my dad too. Still, Alan isn't doing much to combat such a crazy rumor by sharing that Zach Top is going to be a guest on some of his shows. Clearly, this is some overdue father/son bonding.
