Country Music Fans Roast Kane Brown Over New Year's Outfit

Kane Brown performed at New Year's Eve Live: Nashville's Big Bash, although all anyone can talk about is his outfit.

Many were disappointed with Brown's appearance at the event, as he isn't exactly a country singer. Although not too many seemed to care about the music played as his outfit caught the eyes of the audience than his music caught ears.

The singer wore black sunglasses and a solid black, sparkly suit. Honestly, it's really not that bad. It may just be me, but the velvet-looking suit isn't as much of a wardrobe sin than people are making it out to be. Although the top he was wearing was a little jarring.

If I was wearing a shining suit, I certainly wouldn't match it with a grey top like that. And that's me giving out fashion advice.

Many of the complaints online weren't just about his outfit, however. Some were disappointed and mad that Kane Brown was simply present at the event.

Internet Reacts To Kane Brown's Outfit And Performance

Poor Kane Brown got dragged online, although that is the internet's specialty. To X, many people posted their thoughts.

"Kane Brown dressed like a f--king evil matrix character," writes one, noting the stranger qualities of his ensemble.

"Seeing/hearing Kane Brown for the first time and he looks like a character from The Matrix trilogy," writes another, echoing the whole 'matrix' theme.

"Kane Brown out here dressed like a WNBA coach," comments another.

For every post making fun of his outfit was a dozen others simply complaining about the singer in general.

"Kane Brown is such a boring performer. Goodness," posts a disappointed viewer.

"Kane brown had less energy than me getting out of bed. Horrible performance," half-jokes another.

"Church doing Springsteen right after Kane brown committing a war crime against my ears is a hell of a way to ring in the year," states one more.

Nashville is the home of country music, so most non-country performances will be met with harsh criticism from country fans.
