Smoking weed has become ubiquitous in daily society. It's referenced in songs, movies, TV shows, and is legal in multiple states. Nevertheless, there are still some places where you know a quick hit isn't going to go down well, and you would assume the White House sits atop that list.

Not for Ernest. The country star recently told "Taste of Country Nights" that he participated in a little 420 action while on a trip to the White House.
The discussion of weed came up because of Ernest's recent collaboration with Snoop Dogg on "Gettin' Gone." In fairness, Snoop Dogg and weed are like a Big Mac and fries — you don't get one without the other. That conversation quickly led to the wildest place Ernest had ripped a quick hit.
"I hit a vape pen in the White House," Ernest said. "Not a big deal, just ripped a pen in the White House."
Now, ripping a vape pen isn't the same as smoking a bowl, but either way, that's one of the craziest places imaginable to decide to consume drugs. Ernest did illustrate his method during the podcast episode, showing that he hid the vape in a closed fist and then inhaled through the gap between his thumb and pointer finger.
Ernest Also Made a Jaw-Dropping Admission About Morgan Wallen
During the same podcast appearance, Ernest was asked about whether Morgan Wallen would be attending the CMA Awards this year. Of course, as we all know now, he did not.
"He don't give a s--t," Ernest said. "Since when is Morgan giving a s--t? Who's makin' more money doing this than Morgan Wallen, he doesn't give a f--k about this award. I wouldn't either if I was Morgan Wallen."
That probably explains why the two are such close friends. You need a certain level of blasé to casually smoke weed at the White House, just like you do to routinely skip the biggest awards show in your industry.
Both Wallen and Ernest are rebels to the core. But, if we're being honest with ourselves, that's probably why they're so relatable as artists, and part of the reason behind their fame.
