New details are now emerging about the hotel, which is going to be located at 211 Commerce Street, in the heart of Music City.
According to Fox 17, SongTeller will feature two entertainment venues, both Parton's Live and Jolene's. The former will host songwriter sessions, while the latter will feature live entertainment. Jolene's will be located on the 11th floor, giving guests an expansive view of the city.
In addition to live music venues, SongTeller will also have a coffee shop, appropriately called Cup of Ambition, along with her own Life of Many Colors Museum. SongTeller will have 245 guest rooms and suites, while also offering Bluetooth speakers for the best in-room music experience. Guests will also have access to refillable water bottles, plus hydration stations.
When announcing the hotel, the East Tennessee native said it was a way to give back to Nashville.
"Since the pandemic, commercial real estate is becoming an opportunity," Parton told the Nashville Business Journal. "I strongly believe in the future of Nashville and feel this is a great investment."
Dolly Parton's Life of Many Colors Museum
Parton's Journey of a Seeker exhibit is open now at the Country Music Hall of Fame. While the exhibit offers many of Parton's own artifacts and memorabilia, she reveals she kept some of them to use for her Life of Many Colors Museum.
"I left a few things for myself," Parton said at her exhibit opening. "You know, I'm building a hotel right up the road. It's called The SongTeller Hotel, and attached to that is my own museum, and that's going to open in the spring of next year. So I'm sure that the Country Music Hall of Fame, we're going to be good neighbors ... I did kind of cheat them a little bit. I held on to some of my major things."
A specific opening date has yet to be announced. Parton is also putting the finishing touches on her Dolly: An Original Musical, which will premiere in Nashville next month.
