Fans shared videos of Martin slurring his words and talking a little too much onstage. However, he didn't waste time trying to explain himself. The singer shared at one point that "I might have had an argument or two with a woman that's supposed to love me." He also admitted to the crowd, "I'm a little drunk. I ain't going to lie to you."

Martin also had some thoughts that he wanted to share regarding his career. "Everything that comes out of my song is real," he shared in a rant with the audience. "This ain't something nobody can f***king pull a puppet string...make me do anything that they want me to do. This is real...They'll probably cut me off...But I love y'all."

A little bit later, police arrived to take Martin off the stage, who they later dragged away kicking and screaming. Authorities shared in a statement that, "due to his impaired state, [Mr. Martin] became resistant and had to be forcibly escorted out."

The Rensselear County Sheriff's Office shared, "At first, what appeared to be an act of aggression understandably caused concern among fans and event organizers. However, in the hours following the incident, Mr. Martin acknowledged that he is struggling with alcoholism. This admission shifts the perspective from one of conflict to one of compassion."

The singer took to social media to clear things up with fans.

Bryan Martin Apologizes to Fans in Heartfelt Post

The next day, on Instagram, Martin apologized to his fans for his behavior. "I'm sorry I let y'all down tonight...truth is I'm not ok...been hitting it hard for a while and haven't took time to be honest with myself about my mental health and it's nothing new to struggle with anxiety and depression..but I've had a weight on my heart that's been heavy and accumulating with time."

He went on to say, "I let myself and my fans down by not addressing them and getting help and pretending it was all gonna just go away. Feelings and this life ain't ever gonna be something that gets easier."

Martin has been struggling with mental health since he was a teenager, when he attempted to take his own life at 19. He's also been open about a second attempt to take his life, which occurred about three years ago after his divorce was finalized.

Now, the singer has chosen recovery, which means he might be taking a hiatus for a while. "Gods got more in store and he's restoring my strength as we speak...I'll still be rocking but I think it's times to slow down a lil and get back to writing songs and getting the help I need."
