Marlowe maintained his composure while being escorted out, while a security guard clutched the back of his shirt. Many fans sensed that some altercation had occurred.

Luckily, Marlowe took to TikTok the next morning to clarify the situation and provide people with the answers. "What's up y'all, just wanted to hop on here and clear the air a little bit."

He first addressed a video he had posted the night before, which has since been removed. Marlowe expressed that "after sleeping on it and watching church this morning," he had decided to take down the video. It had been filmed from his perspective as he was being escorted out, which was when he was "pretty frustrated."

Marlowe Explains How the Altercation Happened

Marlowe explained that when he and his friend were first approached, they were mostly trying to avoid a scene. "We went back and forth trying to explain to him that we had just played, and that we were trying to watch Jake's set and stay out of the way."

The security guard suggested they go to the pit to watch the show, which wasn't a great solution. Marlow said, "If we go to the pit in the middle of the day, it's probably going to cause a little bit of a scene, just we'd just gotten off stage and were wearing the same clothes." The "Boys Back Home" singer didn't want to be "disrespectful" to Jake Owens, who was playing his set.

Marlowe also explained in the video that where they were was "like a tower" and had two floors. Assuming the security guard just wanted them away from the top level, they chose to move to the lower level instead.

After walking downstairs, Marlowe said that they were repeatedly told to "Get the F outta here" by the same guard. Some cops then greeted them. They again tried to explain that they had All-Access passes, which were supposed to allow them to go anywhere. The cops said that the security guard was their boss, and he was telling them to "get them out of there."

Marlowe also acknowledged throughout the video, "I also won't lie and say I wasn't kinda rude back to the guy." After being approached by the cops, he said, "A few heated words were definitely exchanged."

The country singer closed off the video by saying, "For what I believe in and what I'm trying to get out there and push the message, this isn't the kind of message I'm trying to push for myself or for anybody." He also said that the festival and the set went great, despite the altercation that occurred later.
