Typically, brides don't like surprises on their wedding day. I can tell you that when I was getting married, a surprise was the last thing I would have wanted. Okay let's be real, your wedding day should be an unforgettable moment to begin with. However, something that would make your day even more special is if one of your favorite artists came out and surprised you. While this doesn't happen to too many of us, this one couple got the surprise of a lifetime when Drake Milligan joined them for their wedding.
Taste of Country shared the epic encounter. Apparently, "The singer was on his way through Arkansas when he received a special request to sing his song "Dance of a Lifetime" while a couple danced their first dance at their wedding." Being the stand up guy that he is, he decided to oblige.
Although he was hesitant to surprise a bride on her wedding day, Milligan admitted that he had met the entire family and everyone assured him she would love it. While the country singer is used to singing to packed full stadiums, it had been a long time since he sang to a small intimate crowd at a wedding.
Additionally, Drake Milligan admitted he was a bit fearful of his grand entrance. "There was a big staircase I had to come down," the singer recalled. He continued, "and my biggest thought was, 'Please don't fall down the stairs.'"

Luckily for Drake, and all of the guests, he did not fall. Instead his performance went off without a hitch and the bride got the surprise of her lifetime. Honestly, I thought his entrance was pretty epic. As the bride and groom begin their dance they clearly expect nothing.
Drake calmly and successfully makes his way down the stunning staircase and then he confidently hits his first note. "If love was a melody, I'd want you to sing to me in that voice, that whispers my name." His rich, baritone voice quickly filled the room. It didn't take long for the bride to realize that her first dance song was being sung live.
After the country singer surprises the couple for their wedding they get to hug the incredible artist. Then, Drake even stays afterward for some hilarious photo booth photos. Talk about an unforgettable moment and an absolutely epic wedding day.
