Just this Thursday, country singer Zac Brown of the Zac Brown Band confirmed his engagement to entrepreneur and jewelry designer Kendra Scott. This announcement might come as a surprise to some. The couple made their debut together just two months ago at the American Music Awards.

"We are so happy and grateful that we found each other," the jewelry designer told People. The two were set up by a mutual friend, and have "become inseparable," a source told the magazine.
The couple posed for pictures that showed off Scott's dazzling pink engagement ring.
Both Zac Brown and Scott have children from previous relationships. Just as well, Brown just finished navigating a sticky breakup with ex-wife Kelly Yazdi. Although the couple initially portrayed their 2023 breakup as mutual and amicable, Brown has recently filed an emergency temporary restraining order against his ex.
Yazdi, 34, posted an Instagram message that breached a confidentiality agreement she had made with Brown, which she still refused to remove from the platform, despite his filing a restraining order against her. On May 19, the model posted a TikTok video clapping back at Brown and "his money, power, celebrity, and lawyers." This lawsuit is still ongoing.
Brown also has children with his other ex-wife, Shelley Brown, who is also a jewelry designer. Scott, who is 51, also shares two sons with ex-husband John Scott and one with ex-husband Matt Davis.
Not Quite a Vegas Wedding, but a Residency Works Too
Other than the restraining orders and lawsuits, it seems like it's been a pretty good year for Zac Brown. And it's only getting better.
At the AMA's, after debuting his relationship with Scott, the Zac Brown Band took home the first-ever Veterans' Voice Awards. The award was meant for an artist who has made a remarkable impact on the lives of veterans. Brown is the founder of Camp Southern Ground, which is a facility that aims to make a difference in the lives of veterans and their families. He's also been known to shout out and invite veterans onstage during performances of the band's hit, "Chicken Fried".
On Instagram, Scott hyped up her fiancé, saying, "[Zac Brown] I'm so incredibly proud of you—of your heart, your service, and the man you are," she added. "You couldn't deserve this more."

Brown said that the show would be "something that people are not going to expect, and I love throwing people a good curveball." The album will drop and shows will begin on December 5, 2025.
