Doctors admitted the 4-year-old to Williamson Medical Center in Tennessee over the weekend. Farr first shared the news on Sunday, posting a photo of his daughter sitting up in her hospital bed. With a nasal cannula providing oxygen, she offered a small smile to the camera.
"Y'all say some prayers for my lil munch," Farr wrote in the caption. "She's in the hospital with pneumonia."
The country music community quickly rallied behind the family. Jason Aldean commented, "Aww man. I hate to hear that. Hope she feels better soon bud." Aldean's wife, Brittany, added a string of prayer hand emojis, while his sister Kasi reacted with, "Oh no!!" DeeJay Silver also expressed sympathy with a broken heart emoji.
Farr Offers Update
Farr returned with another update Monday, sharing a second photo of Hollis resting in bed. In this image, she's asleep with her arms behind her head, surrounded by stuffed animals. The nasal cannula appears to have been removed.
"Glad to be back in TN w/ my little girl," Farr wrote. "Thank you Williamson Medical Center for takin care of her and my wife @hannahcfarr."
He has not shared any additional details about Hollis' condition. Farr, who has been on tour this year, is scheduled to perform again Friday, June 27. It remains unclear whether he will postpone or proceed with the show.
From Missouri Roots to Country Radio Charts
Farr, 40, is known for blending raw country grit with a classically trained voice. Raised in Garden City, Missouri, he studied voice at Missouri State University before breaking into the Nashville scene.
Originally signed to BNA Records, Farr transitioned to Columbia Nashville after the label's closure. His 2013 debut album Redneck Crazy included hits like the title track and "Whiskey in My Water." He followed it with Suffer in Peace in 2015, which featured his first No. 1 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart, "A Guy Walks Into a Bar."
He has charted eight singles in total and co-written tracks for other artists, including "Hey Y'all" for Cole Swindell and "She's Just Like That" for Joe Nichols.
Farr continues to tour and perform while balancing family life. For now, his focus is clearly on his daughter's recovery.
