Facebook page confirmed the news. They also shared a photo of the Hunt family's newest arrival. Weyman Allen Hunt was born on May 21, 2025, weighing 8 lb. 6 oz., and is 20.5 inches long, making the Hunts a party of five. The child's middle name may be from San Hunt's dad, Allen Hunt.The "House Party" artist shared the good news last year in an interview backstage before the CMA Awards. He told iHeartCountry that Hunt was planning on going hunting. When his wife started experiencing morning sickness, he knew something was amiss.
"I found out about two months ago that Hannah had a baby on the way," Hunt shared in the clip.
Since then, Hunt was doing all he could to prepare for the arrival of the couple's third child.
"My wife, Hannah, has been doing more than her share so far," Hunt told iHeartCountry before a performance in May. "I've tried to pitch in where I can, but I have a feeling with No. 3, it's gonna be an 'all hands on deck' situation."
Hunt's Announcement Was A Surprise
It's always a blessing when a child enters a couple's life. Considering the turbulent story of Hunt and his wife's relationship, the announcement of his wife's pregnancy was certainly a surprise.
Hunt and his wife Hannah tied the knot on April 15, 2017. They had their first child, Lucy Louise, in 2022 and their second child, Lowry Lee, a year later.
However, it was in 2022 that Hunt's wife filed for divorce. According to court documents, Hannah cited "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the dissolution of the marriage. She also accused Hunt of "inappropriate marital conduct" and "adultery" and requested primary custody of Lucy, child support and alimony. It was two months later when she withdrew the complaint.
Other Country Couple Having Kids in 2025
The Hunt family isn't the only country couple welcoming children this year.
Shay Mooney of Dan + Shay and his wife welcomed their fourth child earlier this year while rising star Koe Wetzel and his partner welcomed a baby girl back in May. Teddy Swims and his wife welcomed a son on June 23, 2025, and MacKenzie Porter welcomed a baby girl several months ago.
