4 Rising Country Stars You Should Be Watching Very Closely in 2025

One of many aspects that I love about country music is the fact that everyone is welcome in the country tent. You have the seasoned icons like Willie, Dolly, and George (you know who I mean!) Then there are people like Miranda, Blake, Lainey, Luke (Combs and Bryan), Kelsea, Morgan, and Kacey. Also, we have the crop of fabulous young stars such as Ella Langley. They are getting a solid foothold in the industry with their outstanding singing, writing, and performing. It's a challenge to establish yourself and gain a fan base. Nevertheless, they have shown that are persistent and hard-working. And wow, do they ever have the skill. Here are some exceptional vocalists to look out for this year.

Ella Langley

This woman is a dynamo. If you saw her duet on "Kerosene" with Miranda Lambert at the ACM Awards. you are already aware of her onstage charisma. Langley has everything going for her. At 26, she has the ability and pizzazz of a superstar. Her duet with Riley Green, "You Look Like You Love Me," was phenomenal. The video was a real hoot, too. (Nice cameo, Jamey Johnson!) Langley will be at the top of the heap for a long time to come. She has already been honored by the ACM and CMA. Make room on your mantel for more awards!

Zach Top

Top was intending to be an engineer. He drastically changed his career plans and went into music instead. After spending time in the bluegrass space, Top switched to country. Good move! He was the ACM's New Male Artist of the Year for 2025, and he has his second studio LP on the way later in August. His young man is among those who keep 1990s-era traditional country music perennially alive for today's audiences. Per his web site, Top has performed with masters of the genre like Billy Strings and Dwight Yoakam. At 27, he has a glittering future in the business.

Lauren Alaina

Alaina finished second in 2011 on season 10 of American Idol, losing to Scotty McCreery. Still, that national exposure gave her a great platform to take her singing career to the next level. At 30, she has not stopped since. Per Celebrity Net Worth, Alaina is a member of the Grand Ole Opry (Trisha Yearwood inducted her) and has collaborated with artists such as Kane Brown, and Dustin Lynch. She will be joining Rascal Flatts on their much-anticipated Life Is A Highway tour. Definitely a gifted singer to keep an eye on this year to see what she does next!

Bailey Zimmerman

Zimmerman, 25, is described on his web site as "one of country music's fastest-rising stars." His impressive track record bears that out. He has garnered nominations for awards from the most prestigious organizations in country music, like CMT, the ACM, and Billboard. Although Zimmerman has only been active in the genre for a couple of years, he has the singing chops to be one of its most successful young mainstays.
