Aldean and Rucker will be making a fan's dream come true and raising funds for a vital cause, and all because one young fan asked them to.
Devarjaye "DJ" Daniel, who you may know as the 13-year-old who has battled, and continues to battle, cancer. Daniel is an aspiring police officer, who has been sworn in by Donald Trump as an honorary law enforcement officer.
In a devastating turn of events, the legendary youngster has been revealed to be suffering with three more tumors on Friday. His battle isn't over, yet he remains as resolute as ever.
He made a call to Jason Aldean, where he asked if anybody knew him as DJ wanted to get Aldean down to perform to raise money for kids with cancer. Now, who could resist a plea from a guy like DJ?
Darius Rucker and Jason Aldean gathered to answer DJ's call, and made him a promise.
"Hey DJ, what's up? It's Darius Rucker here, and guess what? I heard ya, I know Jason Aldean," Rucker rapidly introduced in the video shared to their Instagrams.
"Hey, what's up DJ? Jason Aldean here; got your message. We're gonna get you out to a show, let's talk more about doing a show and doing something to help the kids," Aldean jumped in. "We'll be in touch, my man."
Jason Aldean And Darius Rucker To Put On A Show For Cancer Efforts
Unfortunately, there are no details of the concert for concert relief they have agreed to do. Considering they wish to talk to DJ about the charity show, any more news about it is likely a little further off.
I'm sure both DJ and the country stars will update everyone when they have the details about the cancer performance.
DJ has yet to respond to their answer, but I'm sure he's over the moon by the support he's received.
