Darrell Sheets' Son Shares Emotional Tribute

Sheets' son, Brandon Sheets, took to Instagram in the weeks following his father's death. He shared a series of photos and memories.

"My heart is so broken," he wrote. "I love you Dad and I will do my best to live in your honor and respect our Family. Let's all continue to build those memories and keep the legacy that is 'Darrell (The Gambler) Sheets'"

"I can't answer everyone's questions or concerns right now, I think we all just need time to process and remember all the good that my Father was and will continue to be through my Son and I."

"The love we all have for this man and all his kindness is only a small portion of who he truly is."

Brandon later posted a video slideshow showing his father smiling and enjoying life. He captioned it, "Missing you hard today Dad".

Sheets is survived by Brandon, his grandson, and his daughter Tiffany.

"We are saddened by the passing of a beloved member of our Storage Wars family, Darrell 'The Gambler' Sheets," a spokesperson for the show said, via TMZ. "Our thoughts are with his family and loved ones during this difficult time."

Sheets became a fan favorite across 163 episodes of the show before retiring to Lake Havasu. He later ran an antique shop called Havasu Show Me Your Junk.

In recent years, he had faced several health challenges, including a heart attack in March 2019 that required surgery.
