Beyoncé put on a mega performance for the Texans-Ravens game this year, but Dave Portnoy wasn't very impressed, voicing his opinions on X.

The show was typically extravagant for the football game. Beyoncé performed many of the tracks from her hit country album, Cowboy Carter. The album has already been a point of contention, receiving nothing from the CMAs, but being recognized by Billboard.
But, Dave Portnoy wasn't impressed by Beyoncé. "Beyoncé has been LOST since Destinys Child," he posted to his X profile. He's implying that she hasn't done anything worth noting for almost 18 years. The group, which is where she earned her stripes, hasn't been together for a long time. He thinks her many albums since don't live up to her old days in the girl group.
Barstool Sports face, Dave Portnoy, clearly isn't as swept up by the Beyoncé hype as many others. He has posted in the past about his preference for Rihanna over Beyoncé, too. "Rihanna > Beyoncé. Not particularly close," he posted back in February.
Dave Portnoy Throws Shade At Beyoncé, The Internet Reacts
Of course, he is just trying to get people to react by posting criticisms during the singer's halftime show. And, of course, it's effective. He's a man who knows how to wind the public up. And, hate it or love it, he gets what he needs from it.
His comment section is full of people discussing the slander. "Beyoncé's show was a train wreck. Rihanna's halftime show was far superior," one commenter agrees. Why the two women are being compared is anyone's guess. "Why must we pit two queens against each other?" one man asks.
Dave Portnoy doesn't speak for everyone when voicing his qualms about Beyoncé though. "Stop cap you enjoyed that," one X user commented. Everyone knows Beyoncé looks great and performs like the professional she is. As Portnoy pointed out, she's been making music for over 20 years now. And, in all those years, she's sold millions and still fills stadiums.
Love her or hate her, there is no denying that Beyoncé has had a monumental career that's changed the face of the industry.
