A clip of a recent Keith Urban performance, recorded and posted before news of his split from Nicole Kidman was announced, has some fans wondering what may have led to the couple's separation.

The video was posted on Maggie Baugh's Instagram account. Baugh, 25, is a rising star in country music, known for songs like "Looking at the Sky". She is also a utility player for Urban's band.
Did Keith Urban Just Say That?
The post, captioned, "Did he just say that?" shows the two performing the song "The Fighter." The track was originally a duet with Carrie Underwood.
But instead of singing the original line "When they're tryna get to you, baby I'll be the fighter," Urban sang, "When they're tryna get to you, Maggie I'll be your guitar player."
The lyric change sparked attention because Urban has said the track was inspired by Kidman.
"It's all from a conversation my wife and I had early on in our relationship, that when things get tough, I need to hold her tighter and just try to take care of her," he explained to Billboard in 2017.
"The song is about wanting to heal somebody, wanting to take care of somebody, wanting to protect somebody. It's really like a vow in so many ways."
"I want that tenderness to not have to get hardened to the world," Urban added. "That's my job as her husband, to put myself around her so she can remain that way. And that's really the chorus of 'The Fighter'."
It's Not a Good Look After Nicole Kidman Files for Divorce From Urban
PEOPLE reported Kidman filed in Nashville on Sep. 30. We reported yesterday that the couple started living separately at the beginning of the summer.
Even if Urban's lyric change was innocent, fans began expressing dissatisfaction over the clip, which had been posted before the news of the split went public.
One person commented, "Why in the world would you post this? Have some class. Or maybe you don't mind having none. And Keith? lost all respect. Sure couples separate but to make this that public. Shame on both of them."
Another added, "Nicole deserves better."
"25 vrs 57 midlife crisis? Clearly some sort of crisis," someone else commented.
