Dierks Bentley is one of the biggest names in country music. He's mostly known for taking over the charts with hits like "Drunk On A Plane" and "What Was I Thinkin'." Now, the country singer is attempting to take over the sky too, and he's asking fans to help him out.

In a recent Instagram post, Bentley shared that amidst touring and dominating charts, he's also taken up another pastime - looking for UFOs. Fans filled the comments with their knowledge on the subject, and Dierks was investigating one after the other. In his post, he shared a video that was taken at night, which follows a small light in the sky. "See this all the time flying east to west in the NW sky. Been meaning to post about it for a few years. They light up, move around for a bit, and then go dark. Appear to be 70,000 feet, but they stay in the exact same spot when you fly across the entire country...so they are in space. Not satellites, not Starlink and not meteors... not saying they are #UFO but they are definitely unidentified flying objects!"
Dierks Bentley Just Wants To Figure Out What's up There
At the end of his post, Dierks said that he was "here for the comments," and the comments didn't disappoint. Fans were throwing out answers left and right, and Dierks was having a ball.
One fan was just about as clueless as I feel right now. "IDK man...but my mind just started humming: "Drunk On A Plane!" Dierks responded to the comment with a "Ha!" Other fans were a little more serious about trying to find answers. "My husband is an airline pilot. He's seen them as well." Dierks replied to this, saying, "I hear other pilots, some that have been flying for 20 years, talk about it on tour 'guard' frequency. No one seems to know..." Another fan replied to this comment, "never noticed, I'm usually getting drunk on a plane."
Even amidst all the "Drunk On A Plane" jokes, we hope that Dierks finds what it is that he's looking for. In the meantime, while we look for tickets for his upcoming tour, we know he'll be looking towards the sky, and beyond.
