Dolly Parton Is Turning One Of Her Classics Into A Blue Jean Line

Dolly Parton hasn't been one to rest on her laurels. She's turned her millions into more with various businesses, brands, and charities. Now, she's adding to that catalogue with a Dolly Parton blue jean line, and I'm interested.

There is no denying that the queen of country is a businesswoman. She has everything from a theme park to a children's book charity. It only makes sense that she branches out into fashion too. But pairing up with Kim Kardashian's Good American was a bit of a spinball.

The Dolly Parton jeans were originally teased on the Good American Instagram page. An image of Dolly Parton's guitar, sat over her jeaned lap, was posted. The caption, "Consider this a soft launch," hinted at what was to come. People immediately twigged, of course.

Further posts only revealed more of the new Dolly Parton jean line. They're going to be called 'Joleans,' which is hilarious. What else could they be called?

Dolly Parton Is An Icon Of Fashion

Few people look as good as Dolly Parton at her age. She's maintained that southern belle beauty she was so famed for back in the day. Furthermore, her voice has only matured and exhumes grace. Anyone looking to get a bit of that Dolly Parton charm could do worse than pick up something from her blue jean line.

Dolly spoke to People about the decision to team up with Good American. She said, "It was just a no-brainer to collaborate with Khloé Kardashian and Emma from Good American, and then with a great name like Joleans jeans. I mean, it was just a win-win situation all around. Also, to have that girl power to say, 'Okay girls, let's just do something special,' and I think we did."

She's doing it for the girls. Moreover, looking at the collection, it's clear to see that the inspiration is straight from the lady herself. The Dolly Parton jean lineup is a throwback to her former years. The tight-fitting, high-waisted, rhinestone-adorned jeans are straight from her early wardrobe.

"I think this collection shows my personal taste as my country-girl self. And through the years, I've worn gingham and denim and all the things that we have in our collection." She continued, "I love the sparkle. I love the rhinestones that we have."

I have no doubt they will fly off the shelves.
