Speaking with People, Dolly Parton first let the world know how she gets into the Christmas mood. Despite her years, she hasn't slipped behind with technology. When the season rolls around, Parton says "I just always holler out, 'Alexa, play holiday music for 12 hours in my house,' or something like that, and I just like all of it." And with that, she's locked in, pumping Christmas bangers, sun up, to sun down.

But, when it comes to the best of the best Christmas songs for Parton, there are a few standouts. Speaking about her favourite type she said "I love the fast ones, I love the slow ones." This gives her plenty of scope.

However, the ones that stuck in her mind while speaking to People were a number of classics. "I love 'Silent Night' and 'O Little Town of Bethlehem,' but then I love 'Rudolph' and all of those fun things. I just love all of that."

It turns out that if you want to get into listening to Christmas songs like Parton, you just have to lock in all day and enjoy the ride.

Dolly Parton Is A Christmas Songs Staple

Dolly Parton is no stranger to the Christmas market, and many people's favorites are hers. Throughout her vast and illustrious career, she has produced multiple Christmas albums and plenty of tracks for festive films to boot.

Her first-ever Christmas album came out way back in 1984 alongside Kenny Rodgers. The album went 5x platinum in 1988. Since then she has continued with the Christmas theme, adding many more of her own tracks to the festive playlists. It must be weird hearing your own tracks blasting all throughout the festive season.

Dolly Parton released her first album of Christmas songs with Home For Christmas released in 1990. It wasn't until 2020 that her third Christmas album and 47th studio album was released with Holly Dolly Christmas. This singer just doesn't quit.

I feel that with a total of three full collections of Christmas songs, Dolly Parton is more than qualified to have a favorites list worth listening to.
