Pop and country have collided once more, but in an epic fashion. The legendary queen of country Dolly Parton and the global pop icon Sabrina Carpenter have countryfied the icon's viral hit.

Sabrina Carpenter released the deluxe edition of Short n' Sweet on Valentine's Day. The original album included both "Please Please Please" and "Espresso," which have each amassed over a billion streams of Spotify alone. The latter has reached almost two billion.
These songs alone launched Carpenter's music career, and it seems she's celebrating in style with music royalty, Dolly Parton.
"Please Please Please (feat. Dolly Parton)" was released on the deluxe album, and both stars took to their Instagram accounts to share the news. The song itself has received a country twang, and although Dolly mostly harmonizes with Carpenter, she's given a couple lines to sing solo.
Funnily enough, this version censors the word "motherf---er" which features in the original. It now reads, "like the others." Classy.
"Dolly and me singing in a pickup truck!!!!!! I am so honored to have one of my biggest idols on a song that means so much to me. Short n' Sweet Deluxe is out now! Go watch and listen!!!! Love you forever @dollyparton," Carpenter wrote on her Instagram post.
Dolly shared scenes of Carpenter and herself hanging out, and it's a great watch.
Fans React To Dolly Parton And Sabrina Carpenter Collab
Fans took to the comments to share their thoughts and excitement over this insane collab. I never really thought the pair of them would work together, but I suppose it makes sense. I mean, Carpenter is huge right now, and Dolly will forever be in those heights.
"Both short. both sweet. both everything," a fan account wrote.
"I love watching history being made," wrote Urban Outfitters of all brands.
"Okay this is the collab we needed," another writes.
"I've been obsessed with Dolly since I was born. And I've been obsessed with Sabrina since her first song. I have real tears in my eyes this means the absolute world to me..." comments a super fan of both artists.
"I gasped when this duo suddenly appeared on my screen," one said, and I had the same reaction.
Not the team-up I was expecting, but the team-up I'm glad happened.
