'Duck Dynasty' Reboot Won't Include One Longtime Member Of The Show

With the announcement of the Duck Dynasty reboot coming later this year, several cast members have already confirmed to be part of Duck Dynasty: The Revival. Among them are Willie and Korie Roberston and, of course, the beloved Uncle Si. However, due to his current health issues, patriarch and Duck Commander Phil Robertson will not be part of the show.

Jase Robertson revealed back in December 2024 that his father was diagnosed with early-stage Alzheimer's disease. Moreover, during an Unashamed with the Robertson Family podcast episode, Jase also revealed that Phil was suffering from an unspecified blood disorder.

"Phil's not doing well. I think I spoke on the 1000th podcast," Jase said. "We were trying to figure out the diagnosis, but according to the doctors, they are sure that he has some sort of blood disease causing all kinds of problems."

Later, Jase would also talk about his father with Fox News Digital, detailing how the family is currently supporting the Roberston patriarch.

"He's got a blood disorder, and then he's got the mental issues that could be early [on-set] Alzheimer's ... and probably some ministrokes because of his blood," Jase said about his father. "We're trying several different things. We've seen many doctors and [are] just getting the best care we can and best things that we can and trying to figure out what's next."

Duck Dynasty Cast

While the Duck Dynasty reboot will certainly suffer from Phil's absence, fans are excited to see Uncle Si back in the show. On Wednesday, January 22, Uncle Si announced he was part of the revival on Instagram

"Duck Dynasty: The Revival? They couldn't do it without me, Jack!" Uncle Si wrote. "It's gonna be a blast!" The beloved star then shared a video of Korie Robertson during the Whoa That's Good podcast where she confirmed his presence. "Is Uncle Si gonna be on it? Yes, you will see Uncle Si on the show," Korie said. "So much has changed. We've got a lot to catch people up on."

Sadie Robertson also shared that she was going to be part of Duck Dynasty: The Revival on an Instagram post. "Our hope is for you to watch again together as a family and pray our show brings families back around the dinner table giving thanks to God and loving one another," Saide wrote. "Our prayer as a family is and always has been that we are bright lights for His Glory. We're SO glad to be back! Stay Tuned!"
