Kay Robertson, beloved Duck Dynasty star and wife of patriarch Phil Robertson, recently suffered a severe fall. Her sustained injury required her to be hospitalized and undergo surgery that has left her using a walker to move around.

During an episode of the Duck Call Room podcast, Willie, Jase, and Si Robertson talked about Kay's fall and subsequent hospitalization.
"Kay had another fall, which, she falls a lot. And it was a substantial injury," said Jase, reported by Taste of Country. Jase and his brother Willie are taking care of both Kay and Phil Robertson. The latter was diagnosed with early Alzheimer's disease and is suffering from other debilitating health issues.
"The people that around them 24/7, 'cause obviously we can't be around them at all times, sent me a very graphic picture when she cut her leg" Jase continued. "It was a horror show, it was severe. I was fixing to get up onstage and I see this picture of my mom, I was like, oh man. I was like, 'Get her to the hospital.'"
Willie Robertson would then reveal that his mother Kay had to undergo surgery. As a result, she is now using a walker to move around. Moreover, she is struggling with mobility issues as Kay is also dealing with problems stemming from a broken foot. To Willie, neither Kay nor Phil Robertson "are where they once were."

Similarly, Jase's wife, Missy Robertson, shared a post on Instagram, talking about the family's current situation regarding both Kay and Phil.
"This has been a tough week," Missy wrote. Especially for the caretakers and decision-makers in our family. When I received this picture this morning, I couldn't believe how perfect the timing was. What a gift!"
Attached is a picture of Missy's son Reed, sharing a couch with his own children while all are watching Phil on the TV in a Duck Dynasty episode.

Phil Robertson was diagnosed with early-stage Alzheimer's disease. It was revealed by Jase Robertson on a December episode of Unashamed with the Robertson Family podcast. Phil is also suffering from an unspecified blood disorder and a broken back.
