Eagles Fans Burn Chiefs Jersey And Chant "F--K Taylor Swift" In Chaotic Post-Super Bowl Celebrations

Getting emotionally invested in the NFL is not a crime, especially if you're an Eagles fan and your team just won the Super Bowl. Still, it doesn't make burning a Chiefs jersey or chanting "F--K Taylor Swift" any less distasteful.

Philidelphia Eagles fans took to the streets in plenty of widely reported joyous celebrations as the Eagles crushed the Chiefs 40-22. But amidst all the positive vibes, some less desirable celebrations have spilled out online.

FreedomNewsTV posted some of the more eye-brow-raising scenes on YouTube. The footage shows one group of young Eagles Fans screwing up a Chiefs jersey and huddling around it. They attempt to set the jersey on fire but only manage to get the corners to light. After a few moments, the group starts chanting "F**k Taylor Swift" in unison, a sentiment shared by at least the twenty-large crowd.

The footage shows a fan stamping out the smoldering jersey before a group grabs it and starts tugging the corners. "Rip it! Rip that s**t!" one exclaims as five people start tearing the clothing to shreds. The video then snaps to another group screaming "F**k the Chiefs" in chorus. One Eagles fan in sunglasses addressed the camera and shouted, F**k Patrick Mahomes, f**k Taylor Swift, f**k Travis Kelce."

The anti-Taylor-Swift chants aren't too surprising, as the pop star was loudly booed when she appeared on a giant screen at the Super Bowl stadium. Even Skip Bayless, a former Fox Sports Analyst, recently claimed that the "NFL is now a prisoner of the Swifties." He revealed his thoughts in a heated social media rant, which garnered millions of hits.

Even Kermit The Frog Isn't Safe From The Eagles Celebrations

In a separate video posted by @LeanneSpurs on X, Eagles fans chanting, "F**k the Chiefs," are also seen burning a stuffed toy of Kermit the Frog as fireworks explode overhead.

According to the New York Post, there may be more to torching Kermit the Frog than meets the eye. Patrick Mahomes, the Chiefs quarterback, is often said to look like the famous muppet character. The outlet also explains that Mahomes had 'one of the worst games of his career' at the Super Bowl.
