Ella Langley is very rarely speechless, but she was at the recent ACM Awards. Langley, who had the most nominations of the evening, also walked away with the most trophies. Langley won five ACM Awards, including Music Event of the Year and Single of the Year, both for her "You Look Like You Love Me" collaboration with Riley Green.

Not only did Langley walk away with the most awards, but she was also a first-time ACM Awards nominee. Not since 2015 with Chris Stapleton has a first-time nominee walked away with that many trophies.
"I'm at a loss for words, which, if you've ever met me before, you know that's very hard to do," Langley said after her historic win. "Just grateful. Grateful is just the word I keep saying. It's all I can say, really."
Ahead of the ACM Awards, Langley won New Female Artist of the Year. She and Green also won the ACM Award for Visual Media of the Year, which Langley won as both the artist and producer.
The Story Behind "You Look Like You Love Me"
Langley already had "You Look Like You Love Me" started when Green added a second verse to the song. At the time, the two thought it would be a fun song to sing on tour together, never imagining how much that one song would change both of their careers.
"His ideas are nuts and I love writing with him," Langley tells Billboard of the song. "We were in a write and he was like, "So how's your relationship life going?" and I said, "Honestly, I'm at the point where if they look like they love me, I just got to get out of there." And he was like, 'That's a great song title.'
"Six months later, we had another writing session," she continues. "I wanted a funny song that I could play around a bonfire. We literally just hit record and wrote probably 16 verses and then picked our favorite ones and put it together. Then Riley added a verse, and it's just this sweet love song."
Langley currently has a Top 10 hit with "Weren't For The Wind."
