Ella Langley Reveals Which Country Star Almost Made Her Pass Out

Ella Langley has by now met plenty of her own musical heroes. But Langley recalls meeting one country superstar last year, who made her almost lose consciousness when they both appeared on the all-star Toby Keith tribute, which aired on TV last year

"There was a bar on the stage," Langley recalls on Country Countdown USA. "And seated at the bar were all these famous country stars, including Eric Church. So I walked up to him and shook his hand. He slid his sunglasses down, looked me in the eye and said, 'Ella Langley, I love your voice.' I could have passed out right there. That was my meeting Eric Church story."

Langley met another country music star much earlier in her career, which she also recalls on Country Countdown USA.

"In 2018, I was a student at Auburn, and a group of us went to the Auburn Rodeo," Langley remembers. "I was in the parking lot with the group I came with, playing guitar and singing 'Wagon Wheel.' Somebody came over and stood real close to me. I looked up and it was Cole Swindell! He just happened to be there! I got a picture of the two of us!"

Ella Langley's Next Album

Langley is hard at work on her next album. She has a Top 5 single right now with "Weren't For the Wind," from Still Hungover, released in 2024. She already released a new song, "Never Met Anyone Like You," with HARDY.

"This next record I'm going to put out is very much a concept piece," Langley reveals. "It's different than what I've done, but it's still me. I can't wait to talk about it, but I can't right now. There are so many layers to this. It's not going to come out til next year. We may put out a single before then. It's the coolest thing I've gotten to do. I'm co-producing the whole thing. I'm so excited."

Langley has already said she will have a few surprise guests on the record. But one she likely won't have is her dream collaboration, a rock music icon.

"I grew up on so many different types of music. But probably the most out of anyone ever would be Stevie Nicks," the 26-year-old tells Taste of Country Nights
