Ever Seen A Donkey Play With A Dog? Look No Further Than Bunnie XO’s Farm

Donkeys can be pretty aggressive to dogs and other canines, but in Bunnie XO's farm, we've got them playing together.

Since the beginning of the year, I've been following Bunnie XO and Jelly Roll's farm very closely. Every creature that makes up their farm is precious (especially Crunch), and Bunnie loves each of them dearly (again, especially Crunch).

Progress with her donkeys, however, has taken a little longer. The first donkey, which Jelly Roll called Donkey, was very reserved and spooked whenever Bunnie came near him. Since the introduction of Nova, however, the pair are inseparable, and she brings out the best in him.

Well, it looks like Donkey and Nova are even warming up to the other animals, too. Bunnie XO took a video of Nova and Chachi, her bulldog, running together.

With a fence separating them, the pair runs up and down the length of the field. It's so cute to see Nova playing like this. And Bunnie playing "Free Bird" in the background really brings the whole thing together.

Although Donkey isn't really participating, he's standing by, so maybe he'll join their playtime in the future. He just needs time to come around.

You can watch the adorable moment below.

Fans Fear That Nova Wasn't Playing... But Trying To Attack Chachi

Now, anyone who knows about donkeys might be concerned when watching the video. Donkeys can be very aggressive animals to smaller creatures, like dogs, wolves, coyotes, or whatever. One viewer pointed out that the charging and kicking aren't playing, but Nova is trying to attack Chachi.

However, Bunnie XO knows to keep them separated and stands firm that they were playing. Nova's body language was apparently the same as when she was playing with Donkey, so she isn't worried.

Bunnie spends all day around her animals, so I'd say that we can trust her judgment here. Thankfully, she does keep them separated, otherwise, Chachi could have received a pretty hard hit, whether Nova was playing or not.

So please don't think that donkeys and dogs can get along, just because of this video. most of the time, they do not mix well.
