The fashion show hosted by Elena Velez, took place in ARTECHOUSE in Manhattan. It was a moody affair, with dark, gothic, and sometimes kind of wet, pieces. Depressing visuals pulled straight from the cold shores of winter coastlines only accentuated the grey, lank outfits the models wore.
However, one particular accessory stole the show. One of the models, looking suitably bleak, was also wearing an ankle monitor as she strutted down the catwalk. It was on show, shamelessly flaunting the model's criminal past. If it was meant to add a bit of scandal to the otherwise drab affair, it did its job.
The model in question wasn't wearing the ankle monitor as a fashion piece either. She's served time and is still being monitored, even as she struts her stuff. Anna Delvey is quite the criminal, and she looks great doing it.

The ankle monitor-wearing catwalk queen is none other than fake heiress Anna Delvey. She was previously found guilty of pretending to be a wealthy heiress to work her way into the high-class scene of New York. From 2013 to 2017 she tricked her way into people's lives and their wallets.
In 2013 she created fake financial documents proving she had a multi-million-euro trust fund and forged multiple wire transfers. She used these forged documents to take huge loans with no collateral. From here, she funded a high-flying lifestyle. She had residence in some of the best hotels and partied with the stars. For a few beautiful years, she was one of the elite.
However, the ankle monitor-wearing model was eventually caught, sadly. She served two years and was then deported in 2022 to Germany with a $10,000 bail and parole. Her days of living the life of the wealthy were over, but what a ride she had.
Now, she's back and looking brilliant. Her house arrest has been lifted and she can finally start to climb that social ladder again. She has a Netflix series about her, she's been on Dancing With Stars, and now she's strutting it down the catwalk with an ankle monitor.
She's a modern-day Bonnie Parker.
