Per a press release, it was "an unforgettable celebration of music, baseball, cinematic nostalgia and American culture." More than 35,000 tickets were sold. Nick Abate, USCA founder and CEO, explained, "These weren't just shows - they're the beginning of something way bigger. Thousands of fans, incredible artists, and an unmatched energy came together to bring the dream to life. Huge thanks to everyone who made it happen. We're just getting started!"

Dates for next year's Festival will be September 4 through 6.

Tim McGraw Got Things Rolling

Triple Grammy winner Tim McGraw wowed the crowd at the sold-out show, titled Tim McGraw Live at Field of Dreams. He was the headliner, joined by artists like his nephew, Timothy Wayne, Ty Myers, Loess Hills, Hailey Whitters, Dani Rose, and Cody Lee.

McGraw teamed with Wayne on "Paper Umbrellas." There was another family-themed moment that must have put a lump in everyone's throat. McGraw sang "Happy Birthday" to his late dad, major league baseball player Tug McGraw. The senior McGraw died in 2004 at age 59 of a brain tumor. McGraw also performed "Live Like You Were Dying" to honor his father, who would have been turning 81.

Timothy Wayne did a cover of a Dierks Bentley track. Dani Rose did a song titled "Chess," which was used in the popular Western TV drama Yellowstone. Hailey Whitters sang covers of Trisha Yearwood and Brooks & Dunn. She also shared some joyous personal news with the throng - she is expecting a baby boy.

Velocity Music Festival Took Place on Day Two

Nickelback got the audience going with spirited renditions of songs like "Animals," "Rockstar," "Photograph," and "Savin' Me." Brantley Gilbert joined in with a potent cover of the Steve Earle classic, "Copperhead Road."

Gilbert's patriotically-themed songs included "Courtesy of the Red, White, and Blue (The Angry American)" by the late Toby Keith, and "One Hell of an Amen." He also did a bunch of rousing rock tracks as well.

The other artists included Default, No Fly List, Lakeview, Buckcherry, and Brett Scallions.
