Fitness influencer Chris O'Donnell has died. The internet celebrity passed away last Saturday at the age of 31 from an apparent suicide.

Maricopa Medical Examiner confirmed that O'Donnell died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. His death comes a crushing blow to his online fans. Popular on Instagram and TikTok, O'Donnell often shared his fitness techniques and advice. He regularly uploaded workout posts.
However, O'Donnell's final video is a speech he gave at his brother's wedding. After his death, the family made the video private.
"One of my proudest moments as a brother, being able to send these two off into the next chapter of their lives," he said in the video.
In some of his final Instagram posts, O'Donnell left a haunting message among a reel of his hiking trips. "I wonder when I leave this earth, when I leave the rat race, when I'm lying in the dirt, if you'd remember my face," he captioned the clip.

In the past, O'Donnell shared his mental health struggles with fans. He said that he's often a "very solitary" person and struggled with sobriety.
"I also got sober in 2018 and have been an advocate for substance abuse awareness ever since, helping men and women who are struggling find the treatment they need," he previously wrote.
In his obituary, several people mourned his passing.
One wrote, "Gosh, you were a FINE young man. I wish somebody was there for you to help you through your pain. I'm sorry that nobody could see that you needed somone to talk to about your struggle."
Another wrote, "I was shocked to hear about this. At his young age he had a positive impact on so many people. Being brave to share about his issue with everyone is not something everyone can do. To have such an outpouring is incredible and hope brings a small comfort to his family. All of you will be in my prayers."
And another wrote, "Chris was a wonderful person with a huge heart. May he be remembered as a strong leader and someone whom would help others in a time of need. What is done in life echoes in eternity my friend I look forward to see you again."
